IPMERC
TrainingIPMERC is the training company of the inter SL group. It teaches the commercial conversation: how to open it, how to find the pain underneath the request, and how to close on something both sides recognise as real.
The name is the method. IPMERC stands for Introductie, Pijn, Motivatie, Effect, Reden and Call-to-action, the six steps of a discovery conversation. Every program on the platform maps back to those six.
Visit ipmerc.comThe framework
A discovery conversation fails in predictable places. It opens badly, it stops at the stated request instead of the pain behind it, or it ends without a next step anyone has committed to. The six steps exist to make each of those failures visible while the conversation is still running.
- Introductie
- The opening. Earning the next sixty seconds rather than reciting a script.
- Pijn
- The problem underneath the stated request, which is rarely the same thing.
- Motivatie
- Why this person wants it solved, and why now.
- Effect
- What the problem costs if it stays unsolved.
- Reden
- The reason to act, stated back in the other party's terms.
- Call-to-action
- A next step with a name, a date and an owner.
What the platform contains
The curriculum runs across acquisition, qualification, negotiation and account management, structured as programs rather than as a video library. Each program combines setup material, drills and quizzes with a documentation library of worked situations, so a consultant hitting a specific objection can find that objection rather than a general lesson about objections.
Both individuals and companies use the same platform. An individual signs up alone. A company gets an organisation, invites its team, and sees who has completed what.
Professional services
Alongside the platform, IPMERC runs the process design that makes training stick: defining what good looks like for a given desk, building the call structure around it, and coaching the managers who have to hold the standard after the trainer leaves.

Common questions
What does IPMERC stand for?
Introductie, Pijn, Motivatie, Effect, Reden, Call-to-action. It is the six-step structure of a discovery conversation, and the whole curriculum is organised around it.
Is the training only for salespeople?
No. Recruitment consultants are the other half of the audience, because a recruiter qualifying a vacancy and a salesperson qualifying a deal are running the same conversation with different nouns.
Can a company track its team's progress?
Yes. A company account creates an organisation, the first user becomes the owner, and further members are invited as admins or members with visibility of who has completed what.
